Rules for medical marijuana in Pennsylvania:

Medical marijuana is legal in Pennsylvania for patients with one of 23 qualifying conditions, including cancer, PTSD, epilepsy, chronic pain, and more.
Patients must obtain a medical marijuana card by registering with the state program and getting a doctor's certification.
Medical marijuana can be accessed through licensed dispensaries as pills, oils, tinctures, ointments, and vaporization. Smokable flower is not allowed.
Approved products are restricted to formulations low in THC (under 0.3% by weight). High-THC products are not permitted.
Patients can purchase up to a 30 day supply at a time, defined as a maximum of 90 units or 3,000 mg of THC.
Home cultivation by patients or caregivers is prohibited. Only licensed commercial growers/processors can supply dispensaries.
Usage is limited to certain forms (oils, pills, etc) and recommended dosages. Smoking marijuana is not allowed under the program.
Patients can only obtain medical marijuana from licensed dispensaries in Pennsylvania. Purchases from any other source remain illegal.
There are restrictions on where medical marijuana can be consumed based on location. It cannot be used in public spaces.
Driving under the influence of medical marijuana remains illegal in Pennsylvania. Patients can still face DUIs.
